Another thread begins...

The definition of "idiosyncrasy" in the medical dictionary is "a peculiarity of physical or mental constitution or temperament." The reason that I have chosen to name this particular blog "Idiosyncrasy (a.k.a Religion)," is because of the way people let their religions effect them. How many times have you met someone who let their religion take over their very existence, their very being? How many people have you met that run around quoting passages of religious text, or throwing out "their" morals and trying to push them on to others?

It's a sad, but true, fact that when it comes to religion, people just get downright peculiar. They forget that we are all human beings, entitled to the same rights, same choices, and same freedom of speech that they enjoy. Most people forget that, and they forget it regardless of what topic you are talking about; and most people can't just live and let live. Who cares if someone disagrees with you? As long as you are not out hurting others or yourself, teaching people to hurt others, or campaigning to remove people's rights, you should be left alone.

There would be so much less war and argument if we all could just say "hey... it's okay that your imaginary friend is different than mine."

As on the rest of my blogs, i am open to suggestions on what you would like to hear. shanetrinityjade@yahoo.com
